“We are disappointed that NYU Langone has cancelled their scheduled presentation at Manhattan Community Board 6 tonight. Our community has been clear on our ask for transparency and real public engagement. However, NYU has refused to engage with us since we learned of their intent to purchase the property and possibly close AMC Kips Bay. They have refused to provide any plans for development, and are now refusing to come to the table and meet with us. We implore NYU to start acting like a good neighbor and meet with the community about their plans for 570 2nd Avenue.”
