2026 Memorial Day Guide
April 24, 2026
Every May, our nation collectively pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our great nation and our cherished way of life. Their selflessness and patriotism are the very reason we all enjoy the rights and freedoms we have as Americans, and we must always forever in our hearts and minds.
The courage and selflessness of our fallen heroes are the reasons we enjoy the way of life we have as Americans. On this special Memorial Day, we honor their legacy and offer our eternal gratitude to the families they left behind.
This year, as we collectively celebrate the 250th Birthday of the United States of America and 250 Years of Liberty, we pause to recognize the foundation of our freedom: the men and women who gave their all for nation.
By gathering as a community, we:
- Keep their memories alive.
- Reflect on the cost of service.
- Renew our commitment to the American values they protected.
In recognition of Memorial Day, it is my hope that every American can take some time to pay tribute to our nation’s fallen heroes and let their families know that they do not stand alone.
For your convenience, my office created this special page highlighting all of the parades and observations in our area. I am hopeful that we can all get out to show our patriotism and honor those who have given their all for our nation.
God bless all our past and present servicemen and women, and God bless the United States of America!
Senator Mario R. Mattera
