What happened in New Jersey should serve as a wake-up call. 

 

Roughly 6,600 non-citizens were registered to vote, and approximately 400 cast ballots.  My Senate Republican colleagues and I are urging Governor Hochul to work with the legislature on common-sense election reforms that safeguard our elections and protect every eligible New Yorker's vote.
