Congratulations to Cayden Bowman, a sophomore at Horseheads High School, upon the occasion of capturing the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Division I Bowling Championship in March at AMF Syracuse Lanes.
To mark Cayden’s accomplishment, it was my great pleasure, together with Assemblyman Chris Friend, to sponsor an official Legislative Resolution honoring his championship. The Resolution was approved by the Senate and Assembly earlier this year.

Cayden delivered a remarkable performance in the individual competition, compiling an impressive six-game total pinfall of 1,438, resulting in an outstanding average of 239.67.
Our Resolution reads, in part, “Cayden Bowman's achievement represents a significant milestone, as he becomes the first student-athlete in his school's history to earn a state championship title in bowling…Such an outstanding accomplishment is the culmination of countless hours of dedication, disciplined training, and a steadfast commitment to excellence, qualities which are worthy of the highest praise.”
It was my great pleasure to finally have the chance this week to present a copy of the Resolution to Cayden, and his parents, Don and Michelle.
