Addabbo, Goldfeder, & Attorneys Brady & Marshak Bring Annual Arnie Mig Swing Concert to Howard Beach August 9

Queens NY, July 30, 2012 – NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. and NYS Assemblyman Phillip Goldfeder, along with local elder law attorneys Brady & Marshak, will co-sponsor an outdoor summer concert of swing music on Thursday, August 9 from 7-9 PM, at St. Helen’s Church Parking Lot, 84th Street and 157th Avenue, Howard Beach. Admission is free. The event is rain or shine; in case of bad weather, the event will move indoors to the school auditorium.

Everyone is invited to come out for the annual Arnie Mig Memorial Concert and enjoy the music of the Big Band Era. Returning again this year, Frank Pedulla will lead The Music Staff Swing Orchestra in a concert to honor Arnie Mig, who for many years brought big band swing music to the community.

Addabbo said, “It’s my pleasure to co-sponsor this concert each year to remember Arnie for all that he did for his community. I invite all who love a good time to bring a chair, your dancing shoes and come show love for the man who brought us Big Band Era music for over 20 years.”
