Queens, NY, July 16, 2012 -- On Tuesday, July 10, I met with senior management at Resorts World as a follow-up to the robbery incident that occurred there on June 29. I was briefed on the facts surrounding said incident, and issues such as the ongoing investigation and additional security personnel were discussed.  Resorts World’s state-of-the-art digital surveillance system has provided law enforcement with the information necessary to identify the perpetrator.  I commend Resorts World for their rapid response to this isolated incident and I am hopeful that the individual will be apprehended soon.
