The 2023-2024 New York State Budget is now complete. I know that it took longer than expected, but it is much more important to get it right than to rush through it and maybe overlook something important,” State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. said. “The Senate, Assembly and Governor’s office for weeks discussed and debated many vital pieces of the budget that will impact every New Yorker. I believe this budget makes significant changes and additions to many of the state’s policies on public safety, healthcare, housing, education, and much more. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues during the remainder of the legislative session to further improve the lives of all New Yorkers.
