Senator Addabbo Honors Oxford Bake Shop Upon Its Closure After Almost a Century in Business

Senator Addabbo honors Vicki Deegan and Felicemarie Misiti, the current proprietors of Oxford Bake Shop.
Queens, NY (June 28, 2023) Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. presented certificates of appreciation and a New York State Empire Award to Vicki Deegan and Felicemarie Misiti, the current proprietors of Oxford Bake Shop, located at 104-01 Liberty Ave. in Ozone Park, a neighborhood institution since 1929, which recently closed its doors.
“So many people in this community, including myself, have grown up on the delicious treats from Oxford Bake Shop, like its one-of-kind crumb cake,” Addabbo said. “It’s sad that this business won’t be around anymore, but they will always be a part of New York history and our community's heart. I am proud to have presented Vicki, Felicemarie and Oxford Bake Shop with these well-deserved awards today.”
