Senator Addabbo Hosts 4th and Final Rain Barrel Giveaway of the Year

Senator Addabbo joins reprepresenatives from NYC DEP, community activist, Dorie Figliola and constituents who received a rain barrel at the event on Sunday.

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. in partnership with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection hosted his fourth and final rain barrel giveaway of the year at the United Talmudic Seminary in Glendale on Sunday, September 16, 2023. Senator Addabbo has given away a total of 325 barrels over the last few months to help constituents collect rainwater to re-use for watering their lawns and washing their cars among other purposes, thereby lowering water bills and helping the environment.

“I am glad that my constituents were pleased receiving rain barrels today at my last giveaway event for the year,” Addabbo said. I would like to extend my thanks to the NYC DEP, the United Talmudical Seminary in Glendale, community activist, Dorie Figliola and my office team.”
