Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. welcomed Deja Brew Café NYC to the community at a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 24, 2024, at the establishment located at 102-10 Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill. Cookies and muffins were two for the price of one that day. The proprietors were joined by community leaders like Sherry Algredo, the Chairwoman of Queens Community Board 9, and Shamika Narain, President of the Ozone Park – Woodhaven Kiwanis Club. Senator Addabbo presented the owner with a citation to mark the celebratory occasion.
