State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., partnered with New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) to provide free legal services to his constituents at his Woodhaven District Office on July 9, 2025. Multiple residents received individualized legal help through 45-minute private consultations which addressed many different legal matters. The NYLAG mobile van will visit the community again on August 7, 2025, at Senator Addabbo’s Middle Village office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. by appointment. Translators are available. 

“Legal challenges can be complex and intimidating, especially for those unfamiliar with the legal system,” Senator Addabbo said. “That’s why I am proud to work with NYLAG to connect my community with free legal support.
