Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. is intermittently hosting surprise Friday pop-ups (weather permitting) from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. during the summer at his District Office in Woodhaven and at Metro Chemists Pharmacy to provide resources to the community and increase the visibility of his offices.

The Woodhaven office is located at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue and the Middle Village Office is located at 66-85 73rd Place, but he is hosting the pop-up next door at Metro Chemists Pharmacy, located at 73-01 Metropolitan Avenue because it a main commercial corridor. 

An Addabbo staff member will be stationed at a table in front of the location giving away free goodies like coloring and activity books and bookmarks, as well as seasonally appropriate brochures and related information. They will also provide constituent services regarding any issues that residents bring to them.

"I am happy to host these weekly summer pop-ups as a way to connect directly with our community,” Addabbo said. “It's important to ensure that residents have access to vital resources and support right in their neighborhoods. Together, we can strengthen our community and address the needs of our constituents."
